Article moves
Hi RHaworth. Trying to figure out the reason behind your recent moves which left pages like Draft:The Zeitgeist Movement created. Can you please explain? -- NeilN talk to me 01:12, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
And the move left the talk page in draft space. Might want to check your other moves. -- NeilN talk to me 05:51, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- NeilN, I noticed that Draft:The Zeitgeist Movement and The Zeitgeist Movement both existed. The options were:
- simply delete the draft as stale draft material
- merge the edit histories
- do nothing.
- What would you have done? I apologise for messing up the talk page move. What I meant to do was [1]. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:21, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
I cannot figure out how the draft page was created in the first place or what it contained. --NeilN talk to me 02:58, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- The draft page was no doubt created in the normal way that any page is created. I will admit that it is not now easy to work out which edits were done to which version but does it matter? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:40, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
"Move vandalism"
Good day! I notice that you SPEEDILY deleted Howie Lake, Howie Lake II and Salamoni without a proper RFD. Lake and Salamoni are officers involved in the Shooting of Alton Sterling. Bots are in place to fix double redirects that are the result of moving pages, and these redirects do not fall under the category of Page-move vandalism. -- Jax 0677 (talk) 16:58, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- I see you have re-created them. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:40, 9 July 2016 (UTC)

Why did you submit this AFC
Why did you tag Draft:Biosystems Architecture with an AFC submission template? After I moved the article to draft space to allow the user more time to develop the article, the user has not made any improvements to it. But it has been less than 24 hours. Why not let the author take the time to develop whatever sources might be available? (Personally, I doubt the article will ever pass muster, but it certainly won't in its present state.) — WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 02:50, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- Applying an AfC tag does not prevent the author improving an article. They are now virtually guaranteed six months to do it in. Also the AfC reviewer will give them useful tips towards doing the improvement. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:40, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
Gesundheit
Hello, I recently had an article deleted. It was called Wikipedia:Daniela Gesundheit. I am not sure how to post any kind of link to it now because I cannot find it anywhere or the article that I wrote with all the references and everything. I am 100% sure that everything that went wrong is my fault...but if there is anyway you can help me or restore the article so I can work on it or anything I would be in your debt. All I want is for the article to be posted as Daniela Gesundheit. I had it named as Draft: Daniela Gesundheit as well as Wikipedia: Daniela Gesundheit. I could not name it simply Daniela Gesundheit because there was an article with that name already which was just a redirect to her band. Please help me! I am a good guy I swear. Thanks, Thom Rice (talk) 21:07, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- The entire content of the deleted page at Wikipedia:Daniela Gesundheit was
#redirect Wikipedia:Draft:Daniela Gesundheit
. There is also a similar deleted redirect created by you at Draft:Daniela Gesundheit. All your other redirects are live. I sugest you learn to read your contributions history. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:40, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
Jordan Fisher, create protected
Hi Roger, I was trying to create a new article for Jordan Fisher and I saw the name has been create protected. I think you may have been the admin who create protected it, which I assume was because of the numerous poor attempts to create a page for him over the years. There is a draft of the article, and I recently revised it to bring in more sources and clean up the formatting. My submission was declined, which I don't agree with, as I feel my revision demonstrates the subject's notability. The user who declined the submission, Tseung Kwan O, informed me that either way, before the article can be created, the create protection for Jordan Fisher needs to be removed. And so I come to you to request that you remove the create protection. If you take a look at the draft, you'll see that at the very least the subject is on the cusp of being notable. Thank you for your time. -- Bernie44 (talk) 21:41, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- First of all create a draft version that Tseung Kwan O or another AfC reviewer will accept. Then ask the reviewer to request me to remove the protection. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:40, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
- Hi RHaworth. I looked over the draft and thought it met notability guidelines (which was the declining reason), so I discussed it with the AfC reviewer (Tseung Kwan O) and explained why I felt that the references demonstrated its notability. Per the AfC reviewer's reply to my rationale here, it is good for publication to mainspace. May I request that create protection is removed to allow the article to be moved to mainspace? Thanks! Irish cheese
You deleted list of irish cheeses, which I created on October 4, 2015, per WP:CSD#R3. I don't think that meets the bar of recent, though that part of the criteria would do better with some clarification. Secondly, I created approx. 10 others of the same nature (e.g. List of french cheeses and List of german cheeses). I presume I thought they were reasonable {{r from alternative capitalization}}s at the time (also taking WP:RTYPO into account; WP:RCAPS wasn't codified until two weeks later). Would you mind restoring it? I wouldn't take any issue with you listing it or the lot of them at RfD, but I feel that is the proper way to go. I may even take a hard look at them and agree that they should be deleted. Please ping me if you reply here. Best Regards, —Godsy (TALKCONT) 10:12, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
- Funny: of all the redirects that we deleted list of irish cheeses is one which we definitely do not need because Wikipedia search, which is case insensitive will automatically take this search term directly to list of Irish cheeses. (No ping - if a message is left here, I expect the person leaving the message to watch this page for at least 24 hours.) — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:40, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
I listed the other redirects I created that follow the same pattern at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2016 July 9#Lists of cheeses. It resulted in "no consensus, default to keep". As there seems to be no community consensus to delete such redirects, will you please restore list of irish cheeses?—Godsy(TALKCONT) 16:30, 18 July 2016 (UTC)
- I repeat: that is one which we definitely do not need. It has no incoming links. It is scarcely being viewed. I am not watching the title: if you can find another admin willing to do the restore, I will take no action. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:16, 20 July 2016 (UTC).
- I've been notified of this discussion. Given the disagreement between you two, I think it'd be prudent to have wider discussion on this matter. I have temporarily restored the redirect in order to open a full RfD here: Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2016 July 20#List of irish cheeses. You're welcome to participate. Second Deletion of page - Expway
Roger, This is getting real annoying. I reported the Expway company page, and you deleted it again. The company is 100% valid, and very significant in its market place. It has major partnerships with tier-1 telecom providers, and mobile device makers. I provided plenty of reference for each fact. Please put it back up, or tell me EXACTLY, and I man EXACTLY (not just a link to some long guidelines) why YOU think it is not worthy. Chi Chi Von Tang
Dear Mr. Roger, This is Jackson. I recently created an entry for Chi Chi Von Tang which I saw you deleted. Chi Chi Von Tang is a leading Singapore Fashion label that will head fashion week in Singapore this year and should have an appropriate wiki page. All information was backed by supporting documents and information, better sourced than another Singaporean label called Ong Shunmuga (which has a wiki page). I would like to know how to rectify this situation and get the article back up? Thank you and do let me know why you decided to delete it. Undelete Request - Guru Randhawa
Dear Mr. Roger Haworth, This is Mandeep. I recently created my first page - Guru Randhawa - and saw that it was deleted. I would like to rectify the situation and make the proper corrections so that the page may be listed without any issues. I came across a artist page that I deemed as brief and unbiased and was using the page as a reference guideline for my entry as well. This is the link http://www.gururandhawa.com is the official website for evidence of notability.
Are there any issues that you see which may prevent the entry from becoming a legitimate Wikipedia page? Thank you very much for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you. Best, Oyesidhu (talk) 16:45, 16 July 2016 (UTC)

Hello RHaworth, I was still working on Draft:Heartfulness meditation, following all the guidelines given by User:LaMona who had rejected my earlier submission. Got delayed in making the edits. I noticed that you referred to this delete discussion, that page was a rework on a previously existing page created by someone else, if you see towards the bottom of the discussion I had asked the admin User:Tomwsulcer who voted for delete, if I could start a new page with different title and he had suggested yes, and after that only I had created the Heartfulness Meditation page. Excuse me, but...
This was a point-y deletion and inappropriate: User:Montanabw/Alanna_Shaikh. I chose to userfy the article in my own user space as a draft proposal that could be worked on and improved. There was no "recreation" of a deleted article, this was a userfied article that is outside of main article space. The content contained no policy violations, and it is always acceptable to attempt to recreate a deleted article if the problems leading to its deletion can be remedied. So either restore this deleted article or else please userfy the original deleted Alanna_Shaikh article in my user space. Either is appropriate and well within policy. Montanabw(talk) 23:07, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
- I agree with User:Montanabw. This was a completely inappropriate speedy deletion, especially given that it was deleted 5 minutes before any notice was even given. I hope you will reconsider and undo this deletion. You're usually very dependable, intelligent and even-handed but this time, your judgment was clearly lacking. If it were me, I'd apologize, fix it and move on. Please don't double down to defend an obvious mistake. Msnicki (talk) 23:29, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
- Msnicki, please see my talk page. Not an obvious mistake. --NeilN talk to me 23:32, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
- Perhaps Montanabw should have requested a userfication that copied the history. But speedy deleting 5 minutes before the notice was given is still wrong in my book. Msnicki (talk) 23:39, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
Userfication of the original article, complete with history might actually be preferable, but I'll take whichever version I can get. Montanabw(talk) 23:43, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
- The userpage still needed deleting in any case. Better now, than before a complicated merge had to take place. Montanabw, it is not preferable, it is required. --NeilN talk to me 23:46, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
- Now restored. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:11, 18 July 2016 (UTC)

$uicideboy$
I created the Wikipedia page $uicideboy$, because I have found many notable sources about the group. As Stated in the (Now Deleted) article a big part of there current fame is underground. Most of my sources were from YouTube, Twitter, And SoundCloud. I suggest(ed) you watch Videos on YouTube about $uicideboy$, or maybe visit their website. I feel (felt) this is a group worthy of a Wikipedia page, and I worked hard on creating it, and It would really hurt if it just got tossed with the other deleted articles. That's Is what I contested When they put this page up for deletion, It has now been deleted, and I don't think there's anything I can do about that. But I've been informed that you deleted this page, I worked hard on the code, the code that you would've seen when you click "Edit", and I would like my code back, To Draft a Wikipedia Page, and Publish when the time is appropriate. John Basedow
Earlier today, you requested that my draft:John Basedow be deleted because it was Unambiguous advertising or promotion. I contested this by saying that I felt that all the information I included was necessary but I would be willing to edit the draft to better standards. The draft still ended up being deleted. I was just wondering could you send the page back to me somehow so that I don't have to redo everything from scratch. After talking to some people in the IRC, I know exactly what I need to edit and how to do it. Freakazoid
This article has been expanded by multiple sources, if you reviewed the sources you well see that it will pass any future AfD. As per WP:IAR and WP:AGF it should be reasonable to have the article restored. Also to note when the article was nominated for deletion it had three sources. It was expanded to 11 sources all giving the subject significant coverage. — Valoem talk contrib 15:10, 20 July 2016 (UTC)

- Userfy it for me and I will. Valoem talk contrib 16:47, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- You already had the article userfied, after a deletion discussion and a DRV that endorsed the result, and what did you do? You did nothing with the article except minor cosmetic changes to the reference formatting and then stuck it back in the mainspace. You did nothing to address the reasons for which it was deleted. This is nothing but a cynical attempt to get a second bite at the AfD cherry. It's the inclusionist version of re-re-re-nominating an article until it gets deleted. Reyk YO! 22:01, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- Did you read the article? It clearly passes GNG based on the sources provided. There is no policy based reason for deletion. If you request a DRV I need the article userfied so all editor can see the condition of the article. Valoem talk contrib 00:10, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, I read the article. I also read the AfD and the deletion review, and I also compared the version that was put in your userspace with the version you restored to mainspace. The AfD participants did not agree that it clearly passes the GNG and the participants at deletion review did not agree that the close should be overturned. You did nothing to the userfied article except minor cosmetic changes, so this was a textbook WP:CSD#G4, which explicitly allows the speedy deletion of articles userfied and restored simply to circumvent the deletion policy. I oppose this article being put in your user space a second time because there is no doubt you'll attempt the same trickery again. I'd give serious thought to salting this article actually. Reyk YO! 09:22, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

BAUniC
Radiating here a sigh given how the spirit of Wikipedia is used when BAUniC was removed and not even a condolence added to the squashing it down. Did the one removing it at least took the time and trouble to read it? Please tell me you did and you still decided like you did, as it reflects your heart, but that is not the heart of a human, nor the heart I know from wikipedia. It is the heart of a machine. Someone who did that automatically, without thinking. And probably one that will keep holding on to that line of thought just to pretend to be in the right. Well, I think you are not.
Thank you (sarcastically) for putting me down. Meyer und Linz
At the bottom of my message here is a link to an article you recently deleted on the firm of Meyer & Linz in Louisville, KY in 1861. Since this firm produced at least two known surviving Confederate swords used during the American Civil War, I think the article would be of historical significance and interest to many readers. Current documentation of this firm can be found in 3 books, Collecting the Confederacy by Shannon Pritchard, American Swords and Sword Makers by Richard Bezdek, and also Directory of American Military Goods, Dealers and Makers by Bruce Bazelon. However, the current documentation in all 3 of these books is misleading and inaccurate. Research used in the recording of this firm in all 3 of these books comes from only one source. And that being the City's 1864 (not the 1861) City Directory. It is only within the 18961 directory where any information can be found about this firm. With the partners of this firm, Charles Meyer and Adam Lintz (also found in historical archival records as Lentz, Linz, and Luntz) both passing away in the late 1800's, I do not understand why you deleted my article. Can you please explain in a little more detail so I can understand more. Here is the link but it may require copying and pasting. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Artiffactor (talk • contribs) 01:17, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
- Faults in this message: no heading; external link format used for what should be a wikilink; ridiculous remark about "may require copying and pasting"; unsigned. Faults in the article: shouting the title; total absence of any evidence. If you really can establish the company's notability, try again with a proper article via AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:20, 28 July 2016 (UTC)

Why was File:Fiverrlogo.png deleted?
First of all, permission was provided: bestfiverrlogo
- Please read this. Your licence includes NC and ND clauses neither of which is acceptable. The logo could be uploaded with a fair use rationale but only if it is used in a mainspace article. So kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no COI thinks your service is notable and writes an article about it here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:24, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
Leung Tsang
Hi RHaworth. I am creating the article draft:Leung Tsang. You said the page appears to be a direct copy from http://web.eecs.umich.edu/~leutsang/Professional%20Services.html. Well somehow this is true. In fact this external link belongs to me. I am the owner of this link. I have put a notice on the bottom of this link and grant permission to other people. So please do not delete this article. — Joestc (talk) 15:01, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- Kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no CoI thinks this guy (you?) is notable and writes about him here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:32, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. "Leung Tsang" is not me. He is my advisor. He is a famous professor in our area. Anyone in the Remote Sensing area knows his name and he has got many notable awards. I was not paid to write an article for him. I think maybe within ten years he is gonna retire. By the way, if someone search his name, many of the his notable awards will come up. So could you be kindly to consider restoring his page? — Joestc (talk) 00:53, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
- Joestc, the page to which you link contains a couple of lists which are precisely the sort of stuff we do not want in a wiki bio. If you want an article, do not be slovenly: study some of the thousands of prof bios that we have to get the style, then write a new article from scratch and submit it via AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:16, 3 August 2016 (UTC)

My draft of a page of John Basedow was recently deleted. Draft:John Basedow. Could you please send it to my email so I can edit it from there? I figured even if the draft got deleted, it would be saved to my sandbox, but now I can't find it anywhere and I don't want to start from scratch. — Chrissymackmack (talk) 18:20, 29 July 2016 (UTC)

Global Payments Inc.
Hi RHaworth, Recently, we noticed that our original company page, Global Payments Inc., was deleted from Wikipedia for unknown reasons. After doing some research we came across your name as the administrator who deleted the page and to contact you to restore it. Today, I noticed that there is another "Global Payments" page that is on Wikipedia but it does not look like our original text. Also, it is not connected to our user profile. Can you please advise and assist us with restoring our original Global Payments Inc. page and let me know why it was originally deleted. I would appreciate you help! Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by GlobalPaymentsInc (talk • contribs) 15:31, 1 August 2016 (UTC)

Undelete request - Guru Randhawa
Dear Mr. Roger Haworth, This is Gursharanjot Singh . i want to edit a page named - Guru Randhawa - and saw that it was deleted. I would like to rectify the situation and make the proper corrections so that the page may be listed without any issues. I came across a artist page that I deemed as brief and unbiased and was using the page as a reference guideline for my entry as well. This is the link. http://www.gururandhawa.com is the official website for evidence of notability. Are there any issues that you see which may prevent the entry from becoming a legitimate Wikipedia page? Thank you very much for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you. Best, Gururandhawa123 (talk) 09:35, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Gururandhawa123, no, a person's own website is never evidence of notability. Yes, there is just one simple issue: you seem to be the only person who considers you notable enough for Wikipedia. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:44, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
User:Yogani
Re: User:Yogani. Hello there: 10 years with an uncontested personal user page on Wikipedia, making financial contributions every year, and now deleted just like that with nary a word? I sense prejudice against Yoga, and request you put my personal user page back. My page is no more self-promotional than your page, or anyone else's. It goes without saying that I will no longer be a supporter of Wikipedia if I am not permitted to have a personal user page. So kindly put my user page back. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yogani (talk • contribs) 15:08, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Yogani That userpage was written like an advertisement for that kind of Yoga. We do not permit userpages to be used like adverts. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 14:47, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yogani, the term "user" is misleading: user pages are reserved for people who are actually contributing to Wikipedia. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:44, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
David Arshakyan
Hello RHaworth, I noticed you deleted the page on David Arshakyan... just wanted to know why. He's a professional soccer player in the MLS and all the information I provided was properly cited using reputable sources. Best, (GarHagop (talk) 13:10, 5 August 2016 (UTC))
- Please read this. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:44, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
RHaworth, If I've understood this correctly, his page was deleted because he didn't meet the criteria of playing for a "tier 1" professional soccer league as outlined by Wikipedia Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Fully_professional_leagues here.
While this was true at the time the previous articles were deleted, David Arshakyan is now an official player in the MLS. While he has not yet played a game (as the transfer only occurred 2 days ago), he will be playing within the next two weeks. So, theoretically, this page will become valid following his first official game in the MLS?
Keep in mind that I am new to Wikipedia, so I'm interested in learning the ins and outs of this process. Best, (GarHagop (talk) 20:21, 5 August 2016 (UTC))
- (talk page watcher) GarHagop If/when he plays a match in the MLS, he will meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for football (soccer) players, but until he actually plays, he doesn't meet the standards of these guidelines. If/when he makes an appearance, then the page should be undeleted (or recreated). Joseph2302 21:35, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- Please learn wikilinks. Since the page is currently protected, any recreation would need to be done via AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:11, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
Ramakrishnan Murthy
Dear sir, I saw that the article Ramakrishnan Murthy had been deleted by you a few days ago. I request you to undelete it. As far as I can remember it was a proper article with references et al. How do I raise the matter at DRV? Please advise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carnaticfan1 (talk • contribs) 17:57, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Also, I created the article "Ramakrishnan Murthy" with the user name rkm1289 and edited it so that it would read objectively without any bias, of course with references from reliable sources. This was before I knew that users should refrain from creating content about themselves. I am a vocalist in the Carnatic (South Indian Classical Music) tradition and there is plenty of information about me elsewhere on the Internet if you want to ascertain my credibility. There are also references to my name in other Wikipedia pages, such as "list of Carnatic artists" and "list of Carnatic singers." I myself deleted the content of the page after I saw the "autobiography" tag posted to the article. I request you to remove the "protection from creation of this page" so that in case someone else creates content about me in the future, they are not prevented from doing so.
Appreciate your understanding. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carnaticfan1 (talk • contribs) 18:04, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- "How do I raise the matter at DRV?" Did you see that the letters DRV are a link? Have you followed that link? I applaud your deleting the article because it was an autobio. I wish more people would do that. Removing protection - not needed. A new version should be created via AfC (the letters AfC are another link!). If the article is accepted by an AfC reviewer, then unprotection will be uncontroversial. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:11, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
The club is over 100 years old and a central part of a lot of the community in Coventry. Why is it deleted and how ridiculous to think a non-profit sports club shouldn't have its history shared with the world. Can we have it reinstated please so that, as a club that is still running, we can add to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.255.235.166 (talk) 21:42, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- "Over an 100 years old", "central part of a lot of the community", "non-profit" are not assertions of notability. Amateur, local clubs very rarely pass muster but feel free to try again via AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:11, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
Self-adhesive plastic
Hi. You redirected the article self-adhesive plastic to pressure-sensitive tape on the basis that it was a duplicate. Here's why I think this was an error. While the two products bear some similsrities, they sre quite distinct in physical format and use. Pressure-sensitive tape, as the name suggests, is a narrow tape, and it is used for sticking things together. Self-adhesive plastic is a wide sheet, and it is used for covering surfaces for decorative purposes. "Wide", in this case, can mean meters wide. For example, the floor of a shiny-floor show is typically covered in vast sheets of self-adhesive plastic. Another use of self-adhesive plastic is for the creation of stick-on lettering (so-called vinyl lettering).
Consider, for example, a cotton bedsheet and a cotton ribbon. Both are long strips made of the same material, and are pretty much identical, except, crucially, that (a) one is narrow and the other wide, and (b) they have completely different uses. They are clearly distinct topics. Unifying them into a single article would not make any sense at all.
Since you redirected it, rather than deleted it, I'm going to revert your redirect, for the reasons above, and move the article to self-adhesive plastic sheet. I hope this is acceptable. -- Markshale (talk) 09:46, 6 August 2016 (UTC)

You deleted File:Ihs-logo.svg because it was allegedly blanked but it was only blanked because this editor removed the notice. There's a discussion about the image still ongoing at FFD at Wikipedia:Files_for_discussion/2016_July_10#File:Ihs-logo.svg. I think it should be restored to include the notice and the editor told to argue it at FFD rather than just removing notices to get them deleted. And yes I started a discussion at WT:FFD about how to handle these cases. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 22:27, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
- Your discussion at FFD is in the wrong forum. FFD is not for discussing file usage. In the unlikely event that you have good grounds for its deletion, raise the matter on Commons. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:32, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Development of Spock
Hi there,
I note that you approved the speedy deletion of the article Development of Spock. I contested the deletion, as it inherently did not qualify as part of the WP:A10 criteria. Development of Spock was a WP:SIZESPLIT from Spock and not a duplication. It centred on an expansion of a single section of that article, which had it been included in Spock, would have taken it above the 100kb range. As the criteria states on WP:A10, "This does not include split pages or any article that expands or reorganizes an existing one or that contains referenced, mergeable material." This was raised on the talk page, but that too has been subsequently deleted. Miyagawa (talk) 23:02, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

Deletion of File:Cape Barren Goose edit1.jpg
- I have reverted your speedy deletion of File:Cape Barren Goose edit1.jpg, as it clearly did not meet the criteria as written on the template and in the criteria. It contained the Valued Picture tag, from the defunct Wikipedia:Valued pictures project; this tag is unrelated to that for the similarly named Commons project. Per WP:F2, "pages containing information not relevant to any other project (like {{FeaturedPicture}})" are excluded from speedy deletion.
- Please note that this reversion was based on the current wording of the template, which states "no locally relevant content" (per WP:F2), rather than the old "tags or information on its English Wikipedia description page that are no longer needed" (for which I do not see any policy basis - neither F2 nor the original WP:G6 specify old tags). The change in wording of the template, introduced by Ais523 with this edit, has affected the template's scope significantly. As such, I would recommend that Sfan00 IMG and other interested editors (based on your involvement in the deletion nomination, this includes you) either discuss new wording or restore the previous wording before continuing to use this template for deleting file pages with "tags or information on its English Wikipedia description page that are no longer needed". — Chris Woodrich (talk) 03:28, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Also, I would recommend that the notifications left on users' talk pages also be updated. The wording used now does not in any way indicate the purpose of the deletion procedure being used ("an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image" does not apply). — Chris Woodrich (talk) 03:32, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
Review of new user page after deletion
Hi Roger, This is to ask you if my current user page is now acceptable since you deleted (or ask to delete) the former. As a new user, I would appreciate your guidance and there is one item in my babel template that does not seems to work, it is the |ANI-3| attribute that comes out wrong... any tips on how to fix this?
